WORKSHOP – ITALIAN-AMERICAN CONTRACT LAW

 

On June 3, 5, and 8, 2026, participate in the Italian-American Contract Law Workshop, an intensive training experience designed for law students interested in exploring the differences and similarities between the Italian and U.S. contractual systems. Organized in collaboration with ELSA.

Over the course of three days, participants will have the opportunity to explore the main contract drafting techniques in a practical and comparative manner.

June 3 – Italian Contract Law: contract structure under Italian law, essential elements, standard clauses, and drafting techniques. Presentations by Atty. Prof. Fabio Maggesi and Atty. Annalisa Crisci.

June 5 – American Contract Law: contract structure in the United States, fundamental principles, standard clauses, and drafting approach. Presentations by Dr. Luca Marco Giraldin and Giulia Sambugaro, Esq.

June 8 – Comparative Activity: comparison between the two systems and practical drafting of the same contract according to Italian and U.S. standards.

Organized in collaboration with ELSA, the workshop represents a unique opportunity to develop international legal skills, refine drafting abilities, and engage with a dynamic and stimulating academic and professional environment.
