GOVERNANCE
ITALIC-US FOUNDATION is managed by a Board of Directors composed of three founding, volunteer, and independent members, who hold the main positions provided for by the statute: President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
All of Italian origin, they carry out their activities both in Italy and the United States, ensuring a bilateral vision and management consistent with the Foundation’s transatlantic mission.


FABIO MAGGESI – President
Fabio Maggesi is the President of the Board and Founder of the ITALIC-US project and Foundation. A lawyer registered with the Rome Bar Association, he is the owner of MEPLAW International Law Firm and a promoter of cultural initiatives aimed at enhancing Made in Italy, both in Italy and internationally. In 2019, he was awarded a recognition at the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan for his commitment to international development projects. Additionally, he was included in the 2022 and 2025 editions of the “100 PROFESSIONALS” list by Forbes Italia. Fabio Maggesi has held managerial roles in Italian and American companies and is currently a capital partner in a consulting firm based in England and a consulting firm in Luxembourg. Always committed to promoting and spreading Italian cultural heritage and artisanal excellence worldwide, he has dedicated his career to enhancing Italian craftsmanship globally.

MABY PALMISANO – Vice President and Secretary
Maria Bina Palmisano is Vice President, Secretary, and Co-Founder of ITALIC-US. Italian, residing in Washington D.C., she boasts over 25 years of international experience in the fields of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), humanitarian cooperation, governance, and development, with specific expertise in statistics and in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has designed and overseen complex MEL systems for multimillion-dollar programs funded by international organizations (USAID, World Bank, UNICEF) and private foundations (Gates, ExxonMobile, etc.), providing consultancy to governments and NGOs in over 70 countries. With advanced academic training (Master’s and Doctorate), she is actively engaged in promoting Italian culture and citizenship in the United States. She currently serves as President of the COMITES of Washington D.C. and the association ITALIANS in DC and is a Delegate of the Italian Academy of Cuisine – Washington D.C. Delegation, contributing to the enhancement of Italian cultural and gastronomic traditions.

LUCA MARCO GIRALDIN – Advisor and Treasurer
Luca Marco Giraldin is Advisor, Treasurer, and Co-Founder of the ITALIC-US Foundation. A corporate executive and consultant with over ten years of international experience, he has developed solid expertise in managing expansion and development projects between Italy and the United States, with particular reference to the food, fashion, and luxury sectors. Responsible for the U.S. activities of MEPLAW International Law Firm, he coordinates internationalization, immigration, and tax planning programs to support businesses, professionals, and families engaged in investments and relocation processes in the United States. A firm supporter of Made in Italy, he actively works to enhance Italian entrepreneurial excellence, promoting economic relations and strategic synergies aimed at strengthening dialogue and cooperation between the two countries.

PRIVATE MEMBER
Any individual can become a member of the Foundation and engage in Italic-Us initiatives in Italy and the USA.
BUSINESS MEMBER
Your company can become a member of the Foundation to enjoy Italic-Us privileges and contribute to its identity in Italy and the USA.
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER
The Italian or American institution can become a member of the Foundation, contributing with its presence in Italy and the USA.
SPONSOR
You can become a Sponsor of the Foundation to more effectively promote your identity within projects in Italy and the USA.
The Private Member who wishes to participate in the Foundation’s associative life can join projects and events; be enrolled in programs dedicated to the Member; learn about career opportunities offered by Business Members; participate in scholarship programs; and contribute to the great works of ITALIC-US.
If the member is an American citizen, they can deduct the donation from taxes as provided for donations to Non-Profit Organization 501(c)3.
The Business Member who wishes to participate in the Foundation’s associative life can be part of projects; live and online events; contribute with career positions dedicated to Private Members; contribute to initiatives to maximize their presence in Italy and America and have a dedicated space on our website.
If the member is an American company, they can deduct the donation from taxes as provided for donations to Non-Profit Organization 501(c)3.
The Sponsor who wishes to participate in the Foundation’s associative life can participate, with a related communication program, in projects and events dedicated to our Members in Italy and America; actively attend the event; and contribute to the great works of ITALIC-US.
If the sponsor is an American citizen or company, they can deduct the sponsorship from taxes as provided for donations to Non-Profit Organization 501(c)3.
